I had a last minute flight change and I saw my family with a 10h layover in Doha, but arriving after 11pm. Before assuming that I would be stuck overnight at the airport, I found Souqs and Dunes midnight private tours. Contacting them was extremely easy and they provided me all the info before my flight The tour experience was closely coordinated by their team and our guide Asmat, a few messages via whatsapp and he was there waiting for us despite a delay in our flight. The tour was nothing less than fantastic, primarily by the beauty of the city and secondly by our very knowledgeable and professionel photographer Asmat. We learn lots about the city, buildings, landmarks, culture and life in Qatar, we also had plenty of time to stop and take the most breathtaking pictures. If you, like us, never visited Doha, listen to the your guide, they know the best picture spots of the city. We had a 9 hour layover in Doha on our way to Cape Town. We booked a tour with Souqs and Dune for 4 hours to see a bit of the city. Sadiq was our tour guide and gave us an amazing experience. He was very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the area and culture. We had an amazing dinner at a local restaurant. Sadiq had us back to the airport with plenty of time. We had a fantastic midnight layover trip around the City. Our tour guide Sadiq was brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable. Felt extremely safe in an unknown city at night! Lika and Arshad were fantastic. We have traveled the world and have met very few guides with their warmth, caring, fun loving and professionalism all rolled up into one. Had a long layover in Doha and decided to see the sights. I’m so happy I used Souqs and Dunes for a private tour. Was able to see all the city highlights and even checked out the dunes on my own schedule. I’d highly suggest using them if you have a long layover and want to get a taste of Doha. My guide, Abdulrahman, was so friendly and easy to get along with. He planned the stops out perfectly and suggested some great local stuff that you won’t see in tour books too. Five star.
